In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than ten (10) days notice, shorten your stay or check out early (FOR ANY REASON), please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a refund will be made minus a $50.00 processing fee. If we are unable to rebook the room, the full charge stands.
Should you decide to switch reservation dates, the following will apply: if done outside the ten (10) day cancellation there will be no charge; if done within the ten (10) day cancellation there will be a change fee equal to one (1) night's room charge (plus tax).
In the event of a last minute cancellation due to inclement weather*, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation - YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT FOR ALL NIGHTS BOOKED. However, you will have one (1) month in which to rebook/visit the Inn - i.e. your stay MUST take place within one (1) month of the cancellation. In situations where the originally reserved room is not available: if the newly reserved room is greater in price, you are responsible for the difference; if the newly reserved room is less in price, we will provide a refund. NOTE - the time you wish to rebook may require a two (2) night minimum. You MAY NOT rebook on a holiday (weekday or weekend) OR during the months of September and October. *The definition of inclement weather - Governor calls State of Emergency, road closures, etc.
Rates/policies are subject to change, and vary during high impact periods and special requests. A minimum stay may apply during certain periods of the year, and on holidays.
A thirty (30) day* cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings, and for some holidays and special events. If the entire house is rented by one individual, the FULL NON-REFUNDABLE payment is due thirty (30) days prior to check in.
Check in is 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm. If you will be arriving later, we will provide you with an envelope taped to the front door with your name on it. Inside this envelope will be instructions on how to get into the property, where your room is located, etc.
Check out is 11:00 am. If you require a later check out, prior arrangements MUST be made with the Innkeeper - failure to do so will result in a $50.00 charge added to your total bill. Checking out later than 12:00 pm will result in another night's room charge.
We are a smoke-free environment. Smoking anywhere in the Inn will result in a $500.00 cleaning fee which will be charged, immediately, to your credit card. Smoking is permitted in designated areas outside.
There will be a $250.00 cleaning charge for all red wine and food stains on linens, draperies, or upholstery.
We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any room damages which occurred during your visit.
No pets allowed.
No children under twelve (12) years of age.
Guests will receive a full gourmet breakfast with formal sit down service at 9:00am each day - exception being Sunday when service is at 9:30am. A bagged "to go" breakfast will be provided for guests who require an earlier meal - arrangements MUST be made PRIOR to arrival. We are glad to accommodate dietary restrictions, but they MUST (along with all food allergies) be disclosed at time of reservation. *NOTE* - This breakfast option/timeframe may change depending upon the pricing structure being offered. Please refer to the "Current Specials" and "Breakfast" icons located at the top of our website homepage.
Our dining room seats twelve (12) guests comfortably - with three (3) individual tables of four (4) guests per table. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis - be aware that your entire party may not get to sit together, and couples may have to share a table. Due to our small staff we are unable to accommodate seating at any other location in the Inn.
